{"id":122,"date":"2009-01-23T06:15:27","date_gmt":"2009-01-23T05:15:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nugu.lt\/KIT\/archives\/122"},"modified":"2023-07-02T20:08:36","modified_gmt":"2023-07-02T19:08:36","slug":"slowtv-makes-live-art-at-live-art-kunstnernes-hus-22012009","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nugu.lt\/KIT\/archives\/122","title":{"rendered":"slowTV makes \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Live Art\u00e2\u20ac\u009d at Live Art, Kunstnernes Hus 22.01.2009"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Everything was <strike>corrected<\/strike> connected<\/strong><br \/>\nslowTV makes \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Live Art\u00e2\u20ac\u009d at Live Art, Kunstnernes Hus<br \/>\n22.01.09 &#8211; 01.02.09<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nugu.lt\/KIT_img\/500\/correct_smal-KhusOslo200901l-S1.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>slowTV are a loose, ever-changing collective of artists and students who use television as a medium for research, investigation, intervention in and reinterpretation of a wide variety of&nbsp; supposedly unconnected events and concepts, both physical and virtual; from Lithuanian film festivals to Norwegian confectionary packaging design to new media exhibitions in Rotterdam.<\/p>\n<p>For more information see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slowtv.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/www.slowtv.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>slowTV during Live Art were: Kristin T\u00c3\u00a5rnes, Stig Tommy H\u00c3\u00b8vik, Sille Storihle, Hans Christian Skovholt, Jason Havneraas, David Lamignan Larsen, Daniel Theodor Jangmar Paulsen, Sylvia Kochanska and Nomeda and Gediminas Urbonas.<\/p>\n<p>During the five days slowTV spent at Live art in Kunstnernes Hus, successful and unsuccessful, correct and incorrect and corrected attempts were made to intervene between performances and other works in the exhisting program.<\/p>\n<p>Their Manifesto was their gospel and its ten treatise (which can be viewed upstairs), were interpreted as literal fundamental truth, allowing them to collaborate with invited artists and interact with the work of those not present.<\/p>\n<p>As with past interventions by the group, as much was discovered about their own roles as artists as about the subjects of their investigations.
