seminar on DIGITAL CINEMA February 26th, 2006

ONE DAY seminar on DIGITAL CINEMA. March 28th:
ALL students can participate. This seminar gives you the technical
details from the digital cinema. Recommended.
It is not part of the workshop so when you participate in the FILMSTUNT workshop and to this, you will miss some production time (1 day) from the FILMSTUNT part!

This is digital cinema workshop and SONY will bring HD editing tools
arranged into studios at Prinses theater. YOU have 6 days time to
produce a short film. It will be shown at the festival on SONY 4K
projector.

Although application deadline is over, we have a chance to access that workshop. As number of places is limited, priority is given for
participants joining with SLOW TV.

Write back to us signing for it ASAP, so we know how many people
joining.

workshops in TV, HD and Digital Cinema February 26th, 2006

we would like to encourage ALL of you who did not yet participated in hybrid TV exploration and production of SLOW TV. Some of you probably followed presentations of SLOW TV after the Rotterdam research trip. It is OPEN framework. Welcome to join and explore possibilities.

We will quickly list ALL workshops planned in relation to research on
art and TV practice in expanded field. On a technical level it provides with study in HD video production, digital cinema and 3G and wireless technologies. These arrangements are programmed in dialogue with Medgaards Media lab.

So PLEASE look carefully at the options, think and plan your time, and then WRITE us back with notes for what events YOU want to be sign for.

during week 11: March 13-18:
workshop on reality-meta-show genre and conceptual practice working with TV in the expanded field and BMW (black market world) methods with Raimundas Malasauskas, writer and curator from CAC, Vilnius. There will be 2 HD cams during the workshop and start up & track course to technical use of the HD cameras provided by specialist from multimediasenter.
